Cecile Edith Walker Queen, 68.

Cecile is now sheltered in the arms of God, born February 2, 1956, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Cecile was the daughter of Joseph Eugene Walker and Edith Mae Teague Walker.

Cecile was a phenomenal mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved to travel, the beach was always her favorite, she enjoyed seeing new things and loved laughter/family get togethers with her daughter, family and of course her grand dog, Monroe Mae.

Cecile dedicated the last 22 years to her residents as an environmental specialist at Park Pointe Village in Rock Hill. Before there, Cecile worked at Springs Industries and Diversco, as well as Seamless Sensations.

Cecile’s legacy will be honored as she is sorely missed by her survivors, her daughter and Son In Love Jessica and Billy Caldwell; 2 grandsons Jayme and Carter Norton; 1 granddaughter, Victoria Clark; 1 sister, Judy LeDoux; 1 stepson Timmy Queen and his wife Christy, their 3 children, Kyler, Keiarah and Treyton. As well as so many other family and friends.

Cecile was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ralph Jeffrey Clark Jr.; her husband, Tim Queen, her stepson Dusty Queen; son-in-law, Dwayne Norton; and her sister Jean Pleasant.

In lieu of flowers please make all memorials in memory of Mrs. Queen to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, 2275 India Hook Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive visitors at the home of Jessica and Billy Caldwell.

The visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Pollard Funeral Home. Reverend Kenny Compton will conduct the graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Lando Cemetery.
