​Elnora Mae Arnold Pitts Pressley, age 89, formerly of Chester passed away in Unionville, Michigan on September 12, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mae Murphy Arnold. She was a homemaker and the widow of Franklin B. Pressley who passed in September of 2016. She was first married to the late George J. Pitts, Jr.

Mrs. Pressley was the mother of Douglas Pitts (Bob VanBevern) of Unionville, Mi.; step children, Franklin B. Pressley, Jr., (Yasmin) of Austin, Texas, Dorothy Willard (Larry) of Chester, SC; the sister-in-law of Bonnie Brown Arnold of Great Bend, Kansas whom she regarded as a sister. She had numerous grand-children, great-grand-children and great-great-grand-children. She was predeceased by her sons; Billy, JC and Kenny Pitts; her daughter Alpha Kay P. Allen; brothers, Kenneth “Bud” and Richard “Dickey” Arnold; sisters, Wilma A. Breeden, Sherrill Ann Neeley, and June A. Miller.

She was a member of Orrs Baptist Church and it was her desire that memorials be made to Uriel Cemetery or Orrs Baptist Church building fund.

Her private visitation was held at Pollard Funeral Home and her graveside was 2 :00p.m., Monday at Uriel Cemetery with Reverend Randall Runion speaking.
