Steve Smith Obituary

Steve Morris Smith, 61, of 147 Francis Street in Liberty, died Saturday, August 16, 2018. He was born in Chester, South Carolina to the late Troy Clyde “T.C.” and Lucy Hollifield Smith, Jr. Mr. Smith enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar.

Surviving are a daughter, Trudy Merck and her husband Jon of Liberty; a son, Jason Smith of Easley; a brother, Ronald Smith and 2 grandchildren, Landon and Ansley Merck.

He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by 2 brothers, Jimmy Smith and Troy Smith, III.

The visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, August 24, 2018 at Liberty Mortuary in Liberty, SC. The burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 1st. in Evergreen Cemetery.
