Abel De La Cruz Torres, 69, p assed away Sunday. He was the husband of Carole Ann Legan Palmer De La Cruz. He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Isaac De La Cruz Avila and Alicia Torres Peña. He is also survived by two sons, Abel De La Cruz , Jr. and Isaac De La Cruz; two daughters, Sonia De La Cruz and Patricia De La Cruz ; one step-daughter, Diana Lynn Palmer; one step-son Ray Palmer, III. (Laura); two brothers, Armando De La Cruz and Enrique De La Cruz; two sisters, Hermelinda De La Cruz and Maria De La Cruz and a number of grandchildren.

Abel was a Christian and he enjoyed playing pool and time with his family. He was a self-employed residential brick mason.
