Alvah W. DeVatt, age 60, passed away at his home on Easter Sunday afternoon while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Oliver DeVatt and Betty Struble DeVatt Wydner. Mr. DeVatt is survived by his wife Lytha Ginny Estes DeVatt; two sons, George Copeland (Pam), and Jason Burd; one daughter Kisha Grant; brothers, Stanley Rush, Bob Rush, Ed DeVatt, Les DeVatt; sisters Robin Benedek, Lorraine Agulis; grand-children, Autumn Grant, Alyssa Grant, Chloe Loftis, Tyler Copeland, Clayton Copeland, Christian Copeland, Jaylan Burd and one great-grand-child, Journey Rose Copeland.

Mr. DeVatt was in roofing construction, had been in the National Guard and he was of the Pentecostal faith. The family is meeting at the home.
