Alvin Julius Teigue, 75, of 1169 Crooked Creek Road died March 7, 2015 at his home. He was born in Pendelton to the late James E. and Gladys Taylor Teigue.  He was retired from Burlington Industries in Cramerton, NC where he was an employee instructor and trainer. He is survived by sons, Clinton D. West of Lowrys, Allen Teigue of Charlotte, Dale William Teigue of Rock Hill, Larry Teigue of Lowrys; daughters, Janie Hickson of Rock Hill, Joannie Arney of Belmont, Jerri Brown of York; brothers, Calvin Teague of Glennville, Ga, Melvin Teigue of Smyrna, SC; Willie M. Byers of Belmont, Annie E. Viers of Haysi, Va., Betty J. Thomas of Cramerton, NC; and 30 grandchildren.

The family is gathering at 1169 Crooked Creek Road in Lowrys.

The visitation for Mr. Teigue will be from 1-2pm Monday at The Holy Place Church on Saluda Road, the funeral follow at 2pm and be conducted by Bishop Tommy Sanders. The burial will be in the church cemetery on Patrick Street in Chester.
