Anthony "Tony" DeGroat, age 63, passed away February 5, 2021 in Chester. He was the husband of Peggy Gilkison DeGroat and the step father of Jonathan Gossett of Union and Christopher Gossett of Enoree. He is also survived by three step-grand-children, Jonathan Hunter Gossett, Skylar Gossett, Adylan Gossett; one brother, Milton DeGroat of Las Vegas and numerous nieces and nephews. Anthony was born in Warwick, NY to the late Sydnor and LaHoma Fandurick DeGroat. He was preceded in death by six siblings. Barbara Bright, Andra DeGroat, Andy Degroat, Franky DeGroat, Eric DeGroat, and Henrietta DeGroat.

Tony loved spending time with his friends and family, sports cars, NASCAR racing, video games, and wrestling.
