Arthur L. Ellis, age 72, passed away at his home. He is survived by his son, Anthony Ellis, two daughters, Heather Canteen (Roger), Crystal Adair; grandchildren, Chana Watkins (Charles), Salem Ellis, Vincent Adair, Hunter Allen, Nina Canteen; great-grandchildren, Cheyanne Watkins, Ayden Adair, and A'mia Perkins.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur B. Ellis and Marcene Terry Ellis Hartley and his life partner, Billy Barbee.

Arthur was retired from Lowes in Rock Hill after 20 years of service. He loved working in his yard, being with his family and especially his grandchildren. Arthur was always a helpful man whether it be a family member in need or a customer in Lowes. He was always there to help.
