Barbara Kaye Garland, age 59, of Chester passed away January 30, 2021 in Prisma Health-Baptist, Columbia. Kaye was the daughter of the late Edward Garland and Barbara Ann Smith Garland Bland. She is survived by her step-father, George Bland, Sr. of Chester; one sister, Cathy Harris of Chester; one step-sister, Virgie Elaine McKinney of Boiling Springs, NC; one step-daughter, Amanda Rogers (Jerry) of Richburg; two step-grand-children, Maddox and JJ Rogers. She was preceded in death one half-brother, George Bland, Jr., and one step-sister, Georgina Bland.

Kaye was of the Christian faith and loved traveling to the mountains, listening to gospel music and being a Clemson fan. She was a retired C.N.A.
