Jean Smart, 88, of Winnsboro passed away Sunday, October 25th. She was the wife of George Lonnie Smart and the daughter of the late Hazel Linwood Beckham and Lillie Mae Gray Beckham. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Stoney Eugene Harper (Wendy) of Great Falls; two daughters, Barbara Ann Burns (Bob) of Greenville, SC and Debra Stubbs (Kenneth) of Haughton, Louisiana; two daughters-in-law, Susan Harper and Melissa Smart; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Smart was preceded in death by two sons, George Lonnie Smart, II and Robin L. Harper.

She was retired from Springs Industries-Eureka Plant.

Reverend Melvin Pressley will conduct the graveside service, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27th at Evergreen Cemetery.
