Billy Alvin Lewis, age 72, of Chester died September 3, 2019 in Prisma Heart-Columbia.  Billy was the son of the late James and Juanita Hambrick Lewis and he was the husband of Paula Campbell Lewis and the father of Jeffery P. Lewis and Whitney Lewis; he is also survived by two brothers, Joe Lewis and Ervin Lewis of Chester; two sisters, Faye Sullivan and Peggy Gaius (Doulos); grandchildren, Merlin Elijah Andrew Lewis and Jaleel Carter. He was preceded in death by one grandson, William Paul Lewis; brothers, William and Luther Lewis.

Funeral services will be 3pm Friday in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home, Reverend Melvin Pressley will speak.
