Billy Joe Poston, 78, of 1932 Hardin Strait Road died October 7, 2014 at Piedmont Regional Medical Center. He was the widower or Mary Nell Hughes Poston and the son of the late Yancy and Dessie Ooten Posten. He is survived by two children, Robby E. Poston and Vickie Hinson, both of Chester; brothers, Steve Henson of Chester and Jerry Burlson of Tennessee; a sister Brenda Burlson of Winnsboro; two grandchildren, Jenna Baucom and Chris Hinson; one great-grand-daughter, Hayden Lawrence; and close friend, Morine Davis of Chester. He also leaves behind his faithful dogs, Buddy and Arnold.

He was well known for building and designing three wheel motorcycles.

Mr. Poston was a member of Sanctuary Hills Church of God of Prophecy, 1289 Lincoln Road, York, SC 29745. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. Friday, October 10th.
