Bobby Eugene Crosby, 89, formerly of Craigbrow Circle went home to be with his Heavenly Father on February 14, 2022. He was twice widowed; first of Martha Daphine Fipps Crosby, the mother of his children, and lastly Ellen Ruth Demby Crosby. Mr. Crosby was the last of 13 siblings.

He is survived by his children, David Crosby of Chester and his wife Farhat; daughter, Martha Roof and her husband Keith of Rock Hill; and step-daughter Denise Evans of Rock Hill; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Leila Worthy Crosby and Major Albert Crosby.

Mr. Crosby was retired from Celanese in Rock Hill and he served 30 years in the SC National Guard unit in Chester. He was a graduate of Chester County Schools and he was a member of Garden Sanctuary Church of God in Rock Hill and he was a fan of the USC Gamecocks.

The graveside funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Vernon Craig speaking. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32256.   The family will receive friends after the graveside service. Pollard Funeral Home is serving the family.
