Bruce Bush, 80, passed away Saturday in MUSC-Lancaster. He was the husband of Janet Platenburger Bush and the father of Michael Bush (Rachael) of Columbia, Mike Buckaloo (Margaret) of Chester and Mark Buckaloo (Tina) of Rock Hill. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by siblings, Francis Rodgers and Sammy Bush.

Mr. Bush was a Christian and he was a retired industrial mechanic, avid golfer and runner. The Celebration of Life service will be Friday, July 5 at noon in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home. Bishop Eric Gailliard will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial be made in honor of Mr. Bush to the charity of one's choice. The burial will be private in Forest Hills Cemetery.
