Carolyn Louise Turner, 86, of Chester passed away Thursday July 4th. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa "Terry" McCloud (Wayne) of Chester, Jenny Gregor (Mike) of Columbia; one son, Curtis Turner, Jr. (Sherri) of Chester; grandchildren, Michael McCloud (Chelsea), Del McCloud (Whitney), Melissa McCloud (James), Hannah Gregory, Adam Gregory, Caleb Turner, (Katherin), Walter Turner (Christie), Sarah Turner, Matt McCloud, Lucas Turner, Kaitlyn West, Allison West and Josie Price; numerous great-grandchildren; and cousins that were more like sisters and brothers, and a special friend and neighbor, Linda Stephenson.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie McCloud and one brother, Eddie Anderson.

Ms. Turner was a member of First Baptist Church of Chester and a member of the T.E.L. Sunday school class. She was retired from the Katherine Plant of Springs Industries. She enjoyed word puzzles, watching classic movies, mailing get well and cards of encouragement to friends and the family she dearly loved.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Chester, P.O. Box 518, Chester, SC 29706.

The visitation will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 8th at Pollard Funeral Home. Reverend Clay Waldrip will officiate the Celebration of Life service in the chapel, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
