Catherine Jackson Curran, 78, of Richburg passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. She was the widow of John Joseph Curran and she was born in Philadelphia to the late Edward M. and Catherine McCormick Jackson. Mrs. Curran was retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Chester. After her retirement, she enjoyed teaching driver safety classes in Rock Hill.

Mrs. Curran is survived by two sisters, Lois Tenhengel of Matthews, NC and Dottie Young and her husband Henry of Chester; two nephews Patrick Young and his wife Melissa, Michael Young of Washington; one niece, Kathryn Moore and her husband Eric of Chester; great nephews and nieces, Mason Moore, Alex Moore, Emma Moore all of Chester, and Jackson Young of Washington.

A time of rememberence of Mrs. Curran's life will be held at 1pm, January 24 in Sequim, Washington.
