Celia Mae Melton Langley, age 82, of 723 Langley Road, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Piedmont Medical Center.
The Visitation for Mrs. Langley will be Wednesday evening at Pollard Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7p.m. The graveside funeral will be Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery at 1p.m. and conducted by Pastor John Porter.
Mrs. Langley was the daughter of the late Edgar J. and Nannie Bell Melton Sr. She was retired from the Katherine Plant of Springs Industries. She was a Baptist, and she deeply loved her family. Her favorite pastime was watching golf on television.
She is survived by three sons, James Langley and his wife Karen of Chester, John Langley of Chester, and William Langley of Rock Hill; one daughter Lynn Shaver and her husband Tommy of Chester. Mrs. Langley had seven grandchildren and six great-grand-children.
The family is gathering at the home of William Langley, 3130 Mt. Gallant Road in Rock Hill.
