Charles Green, Sr., 83, of Chester passed away Thursday in Rock Hill. Charles was the husband of Leona Nix Green and the father of three children, Charles Green, Jr.  (Suzanne) of Richburg, Jeff Green (Heidi) of Gastonia, NC, and Hazel Dove of Chester. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grand-children.  He was the son of the late Fred and Lela Powell Green.

Charles was predeceased by five brothers, Boyd, Fred, James, Lloyd and Bill Green.

Charles was a veteran of the U. S. Army and also served in the Army National Guard.

A time of gathering and remembrance will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26th. in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home, 115 York Street, Chester, SC.
