Christine Ramey, age 66, passed away December 10, 2017. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Pollard Funeral Home. Christine was a Christian and held a firm belief in the 2nd Amendment of The Constitution of the United States of America. She was a supporter of the NRA.

Christine is survived by her husband, James Ramey of the home and three daughters, Tonya Ramey of Chester, Sue Ramey Jones (Jason) of Chester and Nikki Ramey Watson of Hickory, NC; one brother, Charles "Eddie" Bland of Chester and two sisters, Patricia Dove of Greenville, SC and Debra Davis of Chester; 9 grand-children and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murry J. and Margie Goings Bland, Sr., one brother, Murry J. Bland Jr., one sister, Sylvia Ramey; one daughter Chrystal Ramey and one grandchild.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215 in memory of Christine Ramey.
