Corrie Cartee, 82, passed away Wednesday at her home. She was the widow of the late Gene Edward Cartee, Sr.

Mrs. Cartee was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Lawrence E. and Evie Mae Steadman Ramsey. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Cartee is survived by one son, Gene "Dozer" Cartee of York; two grandchildren, Charles N. Cartee (Sarah) of Highland Falls, Maine, Kira N. Cartee of Gastonia, NC; great-grandchildren, Jaden Moses, Jack Cartee, Anastasia Cartee, Liam Cartee and Owen Cartee. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Candice Vess and one daughter-in-law, Kara Cartee.

Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 23rd at Pollard Funeral Home. The family will then proceed to Lakeview Memory Gardens in York for the 2:00 p.m. graveside service officiated by Reverend Scott Davis.
