Cynthia Anne Compton, age 52, of 126 Park Drive, died August 1, 2016 at her home. The family is gathering at her home.

Visitation will be held 10-12a.m., Thursday at Tabernacle Ministries with the funeral beginning at 12 noon. It will be officiated by the Pastor Kenny Compton and Bishop David Levister. Burial will be in Blackstock Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was the daughter of Junette Vanderford Melton of Lockhart and the late Lewis Shirley, Sr.; wife of Jerry 'Tott" O. Compton and the mother of three children, Chester Wines III, (Lori), Joshua Wines (April), Angel Pajon. She is also survived by three brothers, Lewis C. Jr., Edward and Roy Shirley all of Chester; three sisters, Wendy Hoy, of Orangeburg, Marie Lopez, Barbara Clark both of Chester; grand-children, Christopher Wines, Alena Pajon, Hannah White, Caden Wines, Michael Wines, Aubry Wines, Cameron Stogner, Jacob Wines, David Shaw, Bridget Carter and one Great-grandchild, Daphney Shaw.
