Dearl O. Hutchins, 81, died Friday. He was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Kenneth H. and Ella Lunsford Hutchins. He was married to his loving wife of 56 years, Frances Bundy Hutchins. Mr. Hutchins is also survived by three sons, Dearl Hutchins, Jr. of Greenville, SC, Jody Hutchins of Greenville, SC, Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchins (Nicole) of Chester; five grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Megan Hutchins, Will Hutchins, Tiffani Hutchins, Blake Ramsey and Josh Ramsey; and Pan the kitty.

Mr. Hutchins retired from GAF Building Materials. He attended Chester First Free Will Baptist Church. He is known for his outdoor Christmas decorations and coaching little league ball in the '70s &'80s. He loved cat-fishing, tending his vegetable garden and the USC Gamecocks.

The visitation and funeral for Mr. Hutchins will be Sunday, September 25, at Chester First Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00p.m., and the funeral will be conducted by Reverend Kevin Johnson beginning at 3:00p.m. The burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.
