Deborah M. Wise, 56, of Chester went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 3, 2023. She was the wife of Ray Wise and the daughter of Mr. James Harvey McSwain of Rock Hill and the late Judith Ann Gardner McSwain. She is also survived by three children, James Ray Wise, Lawrence W. Wise and Sarah Elizabeth Wise all of Chester; two brothers, Brian McSwain (Berry) and Alan McSwain (Amy) and many nieces and nephews.

Deborah was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a Registered Nurse. She was fervent and spirited about her career as a RN and serving others to better their health. She had worked in Spring's, Chester County, Piedmont and Wallace Thompson hospitals during her career. She also was a musician, vocalist, and artist that loved painting nature and animals. Her greatest passion was taking care of her loving family.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday, August 7th at Pollard Funeral Home. The memorial service, with Reverend David Sealy officiating, will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
