Delean Johnson, age 83, entered into eternal rest on December 8 ^, 2017 . He was the widower of Carol Hildreth Johnson and the father of Terry Johnson of Chester, Phil Johnson (Jeanette) of Thomasville, NC, Teresa Porter (James) of Chester. He is also survived by his brother, Sherman Johnson of Chester; sisters; Earline Webb of Chester and Copie Goude of Arizona; grandchildren, Matt and Ron Johnson, Blake Porter, Amanda Porter and Stacey Blue; and 4 great grandchildren, Kayland Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Jaycie Blue, and Justin Blue, Jr. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Rich and Letha Player Johnson, one brother, Paul, one grandson Gregory Darren Porter.

Mr. Johnson was a member of Fountain of Life Church of God and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was the State of S.C. Marble Champion of 1950.

The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Pollard Funeral Home in Chester and the funeral will be 1p.m. Tuesday at Fountain of Life Church of God, The burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.

The family is gathering at 2056 Pinckney Road in Chester. Pollard Funeral Home is serving the family.
