Rev. Donald Thomas Scoggins, Sr., age 90, of 3150 Ogden Road passed away Jan. 3, 2018 at his home. Mr. Scoggins was the son of the late Louie T. and Mary Nivens Scoggins. He was married to Mary Conrad Scoggins and the father of three sons, Tommy (Melissa), Conrad (Kay) and Danny (Jennie); two sisters, Frances Gaulden and Lib Steele, all of Rock Hill; 8 grandchildren, Matthew Scoggins, Elizabeth Terpin, Nikki Scoggins, Anna Caldwell, Sarah Scoggins, Kris Scoggins, Nishie Gallis-Freeman, Allison Scoggins Blanks; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Reverend Scoggins was a retired Presbyterian Minister and most recently served St. Pauls Presbyterian in Chester, where he was a member, and Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church. He was a WWII, U.S. Navy (Seabee) veteran.

Rev. Scoggins graveside service will be Saturday January 6 ^th at 11 a.m., in Zion Cemetery in Lowrys. Reverend Rick Sturgis will speak.
