Dora Bass Moye, age 86, passed away July 25, 2016. She was the widow of Albert William Moye, Sr. and the daughter of the late Brown W. and Mabelle Scales Bass.

Mrs. Moye attended West Side Baptist Church and she was retired from Bi-Lo. She is survived by one daughter, Debra Dove (Scott Helms) of Chester; three grand-children, Martin Eric Hamrick, Haley Rae Dove and Nick Moye; one daughter-in-law, Janet Moye.  She was preceded in death by one son, William (Billy) Moye, Jr.

The visitation and graveside funeral for Mrs. Moye will be held Thursday. The visitation 1:30 – 2:30p.m., at Pollard Funeral Home, Reverend Terry Fowler will officiate the graveside funeral at 3:00p.m., at Chester Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to West Side Baptist Church.
