Ellen Davis, age 70, passed away June 22, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Davis was the wife of Ned Davis, Sr. and she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Josie Cameron Varnadore. After her mother's death in 1948, she was reared by Tom and Leila Cameron. She is also survived by her son, Ned Davis, Jr. (Carolyn) of Lexington, SC; siblings, Bobby Varnadore of Rock Hill and Viola Green of Ft. Mill; grandchildren, Tara, Kirstie, Robert, and William; a number of great-grand-children; and her poodle, Cubby. She was preceded in death by her daughter Darlene Jones; brothers, Clyde H., Thomas A., Johnny E. and Henry W. Varnadore; sisters, Myrtle Steen, Lila Roof, Hellen Roof, Ruth Roof, Anna Shirley.

Mrs. Davis was retired from Springs Industries, a member of Orrs Baptist Church, enjoyed furniture shopping and caring for her family and pets.

On Monday June 26 the visitation will be held at Orrs Baptist church, the visitation will be from 1 until 2p.m. in the church sanctuary. At 2p.m. Reverend Randall Runion will conduct the funeral. Burial will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens.
