Dorothy Wilson Austin, age 87, passed away December 27, 2022. She was the widow of Jesse J. Austin, Sr., and the daughter of the late Mary Wylie Wilson and Fraizer Clark Wilson. She is survived by one daughter, Marie A. Williford (fiancé Richard Hollis); two grandchildren, Jesse Williford, Sr. and Lacie Noelle Williford (fiancé Patrick Brown), two great-grandchildren, Jesse Williford, Jr. and Zamorah Brown. She was preceded in death by one son, Jesse J. Austin, Jr., 3 brothers, Henry "Sonny Boy" Wilson, Grady Lee Wilson and Richard C. Wilson; one sister Ruby Mae Mobley.

Mrs. Austin was a homemaker and a member of Orrs Baptist Church.

The service for Mrs. Austin will be conducted by Reverend Daniel Whiteman, 11:00 o'clock, Saturday December 31, 2022, at Orrs Baptist Church. The family will greet friends in the sanctuary immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Orrs Baptist Church, 1286 Lancaster Hwy., Chester, SC 29706.
