Dorothy Rebecca "Sissy" Mobley Welch, 49, of 515 2 ^nd Street died September 18, 2014. She was born in Greenville, SC. She was the daughter of William "Doodle" and Jackie Gregory Mobley of Chester. She was a homemaker and a member of Chester First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by son Vincent Lee Welch III; daughters Rebecca Welch, Candace N. Boyd; five brothers James "Jimbo" Mobley of Great Falls, Bobby Mobley of Rock Hill, Steven Mobley of Clearwater , Fl. Chris Mobley and Tony Hunter both of Chester; grandchildren Ava Welch, Vanessa Welch, Jeremy Jackson, Mason Copeland, Sadie Copeland, Noah Copeland, Donnie Bailey, Leighian Hill and Serenaty Mundy.; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her biological father, James "Jim" Hunter.

The memorial service for Sissy will be conducted by Pastor John Porter and Reverend Ronnie Greene, 5p.m. Sunday at Chester First Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends at the church from 4 to 5p.m.

Sissy was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was a graduate of Chester High School and attended York Technical College. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Levines Children Hospital.
