Earl Elkins, age 83, passed away Monday November 30, 2020. He was the son of the late Rufus and Annie Stroud Elkins and the husband of Susan Bennett Elkins. He is also survived by one son, Mark Elkins of Chester; step-son David Ernandez (Mary Ann) of Carlisle; daughters, Deloris "Dee "Elkins of Chester, Sheryl McNinch (Marty) of Chester, Rhonda Price (Jeff) of Chester; step-daughters, Tracy Clarkson (Chris) of Sharon, Stacy Ernandez of York; four grand-children and numerous Great-grand-children and great-great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Marshell.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials made to the Chester First Church of the Nazarene, 182 Pinckney Street, Chester, SC 29706, where Mr. Elkins was a church member.

The funeral will be held, with social distancing protocols, 1:00p.m. Thursday at Chester First Church of the Nazarene and officiated by Pastor Jon Parrish. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00p.m. The burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
