Ellen Kay Patrick, 77. Of Chester passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025. She was the widow of James Webster Patrick and the daughter of the late Carl Lucas Gordon, Sr. and Helen Smith Gordon. She is survived by two sons, Ronald S. Patrick (Billie Jo) of Florence, SC and Tommy Patrick (Crystal Sinclair) of Chester; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brandy Patrick and one brother, C.L. Gordon, Jr.

Ellen was born in Chester and retired from Chester County Hospital. She was a member of St. Pauls Presbyterian Church, a brown belt in karate and  a den mother in Cub Scouting for many years.

The family hosted celebration of life, with Karl Bagley speaking, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 15 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 710 Meadowbrook Road, Chester, SC 29706.
