Evelyn Peay Bridges, age 91, formerly of Chester passed away in a Rock Hill nursing facility. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Bessie Massey Peay, Sr. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and retired from Springs Industries–Eureka Plant. Mrs. Bridges was the widow of Avery O. Bridges and the mother of Dwon Bridges (Faye) of Rock Hill; one sister, Rosie Lee McKeown of Chester; two grand-children, Shannon Haigler (Jonathon) and Chad E. Bridges; three great-grand-children; one great-great-grand child. She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Wages.

The funeral service for Mrs. Bridges will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday Feb. 1 ^st at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Pastor Rick Wheeler will speak and the burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Family members will be pallbearers.
