Evelyn Young Gaston ended her earthly journey and began her long-awaited life at the feet of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Maggie Bishop Young and James Curry Young, Sr. and the widow of Arthur Loyd Gaston. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Gaston Bedford (Randy) of Blackstock; her son Loyd Gaston of Chester; her sister, Ruby Young Roberts of Great Falls; her grand-son, Ethan Gaston Bedford of Blackstock. She was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. and Franklin Bishop Young; one sister, Florence Young Toole.

Mrs. Gaston was a member of Branded 4 Life Cowboy Church and Catholic Presbyterian Church. She devoted her life working with Mr. Gaston on their dairy farm and being a homemaker. She loved God and her family.

Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Randy Bedford at 2:00 p.m. Friday at catholic Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Blackstock. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made in Mrs. Gaston's memory to Catholic Presbyterian Church.
