Family and friends are celebrating the life and mourning the loss this week of Gary P. Conaway on August 9, 2015. He was a wonderful and beloved husband to Jennifer Rouse Conaway, a loving dad and best friend to his only child Monica LeChelle Archie (Dean Archie) and devoted, loving son of Kenneth L. and Brenda D. Pate. He is also survived by paternal grandmother, Louise Pate; four amazing brothers, Kenny Pate (Heather Pate), Jamie Pate, Kevin Pate, Mark Conaway; one amazing sister Michelle Conaway-Pate, a number of nieces and nephews.

Gary was born on October 5, 1966 in Statesville, NC, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and spending time with his family and friends.

He will be fondly remembered in a memorial service conducted by David Levister at 11o'clock Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Pollard Funeral Home in Chester.

Gary was always up for an adventure, no matter what the adventure he always made a friend. His greatest adventure is the family and friends he loved and he will forever be in our hearts.
