George B. Bland, Jr. age 37, of Chester died unexpectedly on September 16, 2020. He was the husband of Nicole Parker Bland and the father of two sons, Gregory and Cory Bland, all of the home. He is also survived by his father and step mother, George B. and Sandra Bland, Sr.; his three sisters, Cathy Garland and Kaye Garland of Chester, Virgie McKinney of Mooresboro, NC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Smith Bland and his sister Gina Bland. George was a Christian and he loved time spent with his sons, hunting, fishing, drag racing and playing practical jokes on everyone.

A memorial service will 2:00p.m. Saturday at his home, 581 W. Elliott Street in Chester.
