A Celebration of Life for George will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday August 8, 2020 at his home, 1658 Wellridge Road in Chester. Danny Christopher will speak.

George Clayton Copeland, Jr., age 34, passed away July 30, 2020. He was the husband of Pamela Baker Copeland and the father of three sons, Jonathon Tyler Copeland (Kyleigh), Steven Clayton Copeland and Christian Dean Copeland and the son of the late Lytha "Ginny" Estes Copeland DeVatt. He is also survived by his father, George Copeland, Sr. (Tammy) of Swansea, SC; two sisters, Kisha Loftis of Chester and Holly Copeland of Lancaster; his grand-mother, Dolly Copeland of Chester; one grand-child, Journey Rose Copeland; nieces and nephews, Autumn Grant, Alyssa Grant, Raelynn Owens and Weston Copeland; one step brother, Bobby Walker (Yvonne) of Pelion, SC.

George was preceded in death by his step father, Alvah W. DeVatt and step brother, Stevie Walker.
