JAMES BLAND
Murry James Bland, Jr. age 56, of 2549 Pinckney Road, died Feb. 28, 2013, at his home.
The visitation for Mr. Bland will be Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Pollard Funeral Home from 3-4:00 p.m. The memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Mr. Bland was the son of the late Murry James and Margie Lee Bland, Sr. He was the husband Patricia Pitts Bland of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Sammy Bland and James Lee Bland, both of Chester; one daughter, Karen Bland Jennings and a niece reared in the home as a daughter, Darlene Pitts Wilkes, both of Chester. He had one brother, Eddie Bland of Chester; four sisters, Pat Dove of Greenville, Christine Ramey, Lynn Ramey and Debrah Davis, all three of Chester. His grand-children are Tyler, Bradley and Breanna Bland, Joshua and Jacob Jennings, Nathan and Daniel Wilkes and Araya Foster.
Mr. Bland retired from Duke Energy. Locally-owned Pollard Funeral Home is serving the Bland family
