"Jimbo", James Miller Thomas, III, age 59 was the son of the late James Miller "Jimmy" and Jeanette Brawley Thomas, Jr. Jim was a graduate of Chester High School and studied business at USC-Lancaster, he was an avid fan of the USC Gamecocks, a member of "The Gamecock Club", and had two other passions; water skiing and dancing the shag! He was a loyal member and officer of the Jr. Civitan Club when in high school. He owned and managed Ez's Club and later Legends. Ez's softball team was a popular pastime for many of Jimbo's friends.

He accumulated an expansive group of friends during his life. Jimbo was the highlight of any social setting and will be fondly remembered as the laughing, jovial guy that everyone wanted to be around.

The last years of Jimbo's life were enriched by the love and care of special friends and caregivers, Jamie and Stan Millard.

A time of remembrance and visiting with friends for Jimbo will be held at Pollard Funeral Home on March 24, 2018 from the hours of 4-6p.m.
