Janet Bush, 79, passed away Sunday, October 19th. She was the recent widow of Bruce Bush (June29, 2024) and the mother of Michael Bush (Rachael) of Columbia, Mike Buckaloo (Margaret) of Chester and Mark Buckaloo (Tina) of Rock Hill. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Bridger (Chuck) of Hayesville, NC and Sandy Plattenburger (Gary) of Stanley, NC and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Archie Howard "Bob" Plattenburger and Mildred "Millie" Crowley Plattenburger; two brothers, Junior and Eddie Plattenburger.

Mrs. Bush was a Christian and she was known as a person that took care of others. She loved cooking and baking for her family. She collected recipes and cookbooks, enjoyed sewing, antique and thrift store shopping and most of all visits from her grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, October 21st at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home. Pastor Jesse Looney will officiate.
