Janie Black Mobley, age 80, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Veona A. Black.

Ms. Mobley treasured her family and loved them dearly. She was a Baptist and had attended Parkway Baptist when her health allowed, she was retired from Springs Industries, Eureka Plant and Haddon House Foods.

She is survived by Mr. Edward O. "Squeaky" Mobley of the home; two daughters, Tammie Gonzales (Robbie), Tracey Lance (Tommy) both of Chester; 3 grand-children Robbie Gonzales, Kasie Estes, & Angela Lance; 5 great-grandchildren, Torrie Gonzales , Javy Gonzales , Marteen Gonzales, Aysia Hall, and Andre Hall.

A graveside service for Ms. Mobley will be held at Chester Memorial Gardens, 2p.m. Tuesday.

The family is gathering at 132 East Lacey Street.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Hospice Care of SC, 173 Columbia Street, Chester, SC 29706.
