Janie T. Ratterree, age 94, passed away April 29, 2014. She was the widow of the late Willis C. Ratterree and the daughter of the late John J. and Lottie Yarborough Thorpe. Mrs. Ratterree was retired from Manetta Mill in Lando.

She is survived by one son, John "Ted" Ratterree and his wife Linda of Richburg; 7 grand-children and 15 great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Louise R. Hullett; two sons, Otis "Tim" Ratterree and Michael D. Ratterree.

The graveside funeral for Mrs. Ratterree will be held at 4p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Lando Cemetery and conducted by Reverend Edward Harris. After the funeral service the family will receive friends at the cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Lando Church of God, P.O. Box 84, Richburg, SC 29729.

The family is gathering at the home of "Ted" and Linda Ratterree, 2246 Old Richburg Road.
