JL Wilburn, age 67, died July 1, 2018. He was the husband of Gloria Watters Wilburn of the home and the son of the late Jack and Octa Rogers Wilburn. He is also survived by his children Wayne Knight, Andy Knight, Dana Knight, Dawn Wilburn, Savannah Faile, Sabrina Mackey and Kristy Warren; 21 grandchildren and 23 great grand children; brothers, two Stanley and Cecil Wilburn; three sisters, Evelyn and Dorothy Webb, Melba, Elba and Lucille Dryman.

JL was an operator of heavy grading equipment. He loved hunting and fishing, and he often fished at Lake Oliphant for catfish. He was a part time chicken farmer and he was known as the "Chicken Man". He loved bluegrass music and the University of SC Gamecocks.

The visitation and funeral for Mr. Wilburn will be at Leslie Church of God, 2357 South Anderson Rd Catawba, South Carolina 29704 on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. The visitation will be from 11:00am until 12:00pm, the funeral will be conducted by Pastors Tim Julian and James Locklear at 12:00pm.
