Thomas George "Joe" Wade, 63, husband of Teah Casey Wade, passed away Friday in MUSC-Lancaster. He was the son of the late Thomas and Daisy Wallen Wade. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Chris Gaston (Courtney) of Rock Hill, William Joseph Wade (Jewel-Kitt) of Lancaster; one brother, John M. Wade of Chester; one sister, Evelyn W. Byars (Wayne) of Chester; five grandchildren, Faith Wade, Hope Wade, Sydney West, Michael Griffin and Joseph Byrd (Katelyn); one great granddaughter, Namine Byrd; several nieces & nephews; several great nieces & nephews. He was preceded by one daughter, Ashley Wade.

Mr. Wade was a member of Word and Spirit – The Experience, 126 York Street in Chester, where his Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and Bishop David Levister will officiate and begin the service at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Wade was a songwriter, golfer, bowler, fisherman, trapper, taxidermist, and he loved cooking and baking.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Word and Spirit, P. O. Box 335, Chester, SC 29706.
