On Saturday, November 15, 2025, Mr. John Franklin "Frank" Jourdan, 89, of Chester, went home to be with the Lord with his family by his side. He was the son of the late John Baptist and Juliette Wylie Jourdan. He is survived by his wife, Shelby Hunter Jourdan of the home; two daughters, Christe Allison and husband Joe Allison of Winnsboro, Eileen Revis and husband Robbie Revis of Chester; three sisters, Jean Morrison, Diane Jourdan, and Judy Culp all of Chester; four grandchildren Jonathan Revis, Cody Wagner, Tyler Wagner and Dana Whitener and husband Wilson Whitener. Mr. Jourdan was preceded in death by his two sisters, Margie Ammons and Lillie Hunter.

Mr. Jourdan was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and born and raised in Chester. He loved traveling with his wife and being with his family. He was happy seeing his many friends at the various auctions he frequently attended, working his garden, fishing, tinkering with lawnmowers and most of all being with his family he so dearly loved. He took great enjoyment in helping his father on his farm with plowing and tractor work and riding his horse Trigger.  He was retired from Springs Industries – Eureka Mill and he also previously worked at the Hub in Chester. He operated the Robin Circle Flea Market and was often there visiting with the many vendors and customers. He was also a veteran of the Army National Guard.

Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.
