Johnny Robert Sketoe, Sr., 61, of formerly of Chester, now of Lancaster passed away Saturday morning. He was the husband of Carolyn Collins Sketoe and the son of Annie Louise Polk Sketoe Miller (Terry Black) of Chester and the late Benjamin Neal Sketoe. He is also survived by his son Johnny R. Sketoe, Jr.; daughter, Tina Marie Sketoe; grandchildren, Christopher and Lora Sketoe, all of Lancaster.

Mr. Sketoe was reared a Methodist and was a commercial carpenter by trade.

The family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home.
