Joseph Edward Stillwell, age 70, passed away at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. He was the widower of Susan Keziah Stillwell and the son of the late Ray and Lillian B. Stillwell. He was a U.S. Navy, Vietnam War veteran and a member of Community Church where he was a former deacon. He also had a passion for fishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Shannon Markus (Robert), Christy Patrick; former son-in-law, like a son, Tommy Patrick; grand-children, Joshua  & Tori Nash, Justin & Katelyn  Nash, Austin Patrick, Katherine Patrick, Alyssa Patrick, Joseph Patrick; great-grand-children, Sophia Nash, Isabella Nash, Layton Nash; one brother, Frankie Stillwell. He was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Cruikshank.

The celebration of Mr. Stillwell's life will be conducted by Reverend Ronnie Greene at 3 o'clock Sunday, March 15 ^th at Community Church on Saluda Street. Burial will be in Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
