Judy H. Phillips, 63, of 619 Fernwood Drive in Chester passed away Sunday June 15, 2014 at Chester Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Walter R. and Robena Catledge Holley. She was a member of Chester First Baptist Church and the Dorcus Sunday School Class. She retired from Springs Industries in Chester.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by one son, Tim Miller and his wife Stephanie of Union Mill, NC; one daughter with whom she made her home, Kim Rivera and her husband Juan; one brother Jim Holley of Chester; one sister, Linda Stephenson of Rock Hill; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Mack Holley.

Visitation for Mrs. Phillips will be Monday evening from 6 to 8p.m. at Pollard Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted at Chester First Baptist Church by Reverend Clay Waldrip at 4p.m. on Tuesday June 17, 2014.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Dorcus Sunday School Class at Chester First Baptist Church.

The burial will be in Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
