Junette Melton, 77, passed away Tuesday, October 21st. She was the widow of Tony Edward Melton. She was born in Lockhart and the daughter of the late Hobert & June Brank Vanderford. She is survived by two daughters, Wendy Myers (David) of Bowman, SC and Toni Marie Lopez (Daniel) of Ansted, West Virginia; two sons, Ed Shirley of Alaska and Lewis Shirley (Ann) of Chester. She had thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Compton.

She was a member of Chester First Free Will Baptist Church. The memorial service will be private. Pollard Funeral Home is serving the family.
