Kenneth Leon Clayton, 87, passed away Tuesday in Piedmont Medical Center. He was born in Duncan, SC to the late Ernest L. and Azilee Mobley Clayton. He was the husband of Audrey Blair Clayton. Also surviving are three sons, Terry Lee Clayton of Blackstock and Lonnie Dale Clayton of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Shawn Christian Clayton of Tall Cypress, Texas; one brother, Thomas Earl Clayton (Kathleen) of Chester; two sisters, Mildred Branham (Lawrence) of Chester and Merle Brantley of Rock Hill. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Watkins.

Mr. Clayton was a retired electrical engineer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

The funeral service will be conducted by Dr. Ted Hodges, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Richburg First Baptist Church. The burial will be private at Chester Memorial Gardens.
