Kevin C. Wingate, age 39, of Chester passed away Saturday. He was the son of the late Charles F. Wingate and June Weaver Wingate. Kevin was an apprentice electrician and of the Free Will Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Cole Wingate of Greenville, SC; brother, Mitchell Wingate of Chester; sister, Phyllis W. Lucas (Coochie) of Chester.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 930 W. Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

Kevin's graveside will be 1:00pm Saturday April 25th at Evergreen Cemetery with social distancing observed. Mr. Jamie Jennings will speak.
